New seaplane service
A new seaplane service, linking the Grand Harbour in Malta to Mgarr in Gozo, will start operating as from July 23. It is planned that the plane will initially run five 20-minute round trips a day from the Valletta Waterfront to Mgarr harbour. The aircraft, operated by Canadian company Harbour Air Seaplanes, will land outside the harbours and taxi in to moor alongside a pontoon.
