Various parts of Ta’ Liesse Church in Valletta are currently undergoing restoration works which will amount to around €30,000, Resources Minister George Pullicino said.
He continued that the works inside Notre Dame de Liesse Church are being carried out by the Ministry’s Restoration Unit.

A dangerous room in the sacristy was replaced and the bell tower, the façade and the dome were restored.

Moreover, the Valletta Rehabilitation Project is taking care of works on the stairs in St Ursola Street and St John’s Street.

During these past 15 months, the façade of St Barbara Bastion was also undergoing restoration.
